<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet reversing and conveying device in which a position switching operation for a rocking guide is surely completed at a time when a sheet is inversely sent, even at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: A rocking gear is arranged at the rocking guide and the rocking gear is engaged with a first input gear when the rocking guide is positioned at a first position where the sheet is guided to a reversely rotatable roller. Then a driving force from a motor is transmitted to the roller through the rocking gear and the first input gear and the roller normally rotates. When the rocking guide is positioned at the first position where the sheet from a reversely rotating roller is guided, the rocking gear is engaged with a second input gear.
