<p>A twin disc broadcaster for material to be broadcast, with a supply container (1) which has funnels (2) tapering in each case to a base, a metering device (3) which is assigned to each base and has a metering opening with a metering slide (12) for setting the desired mass flow (amount to be broadcast), and a centrifugal disc (5) revolving below each metering device and having impeller blades which, in the mutually adjacent region, revolve from the inside to the outside counter to the direction of travel of the broadcaster and produce broadcasting compartments which do not completely overlap, wherein the releasable cross section of the metering opening (11) can be adjusted in a variable manner by the slide, wherein, in the event of small mass flows, at least two partial openings are formed between the metering edge of the metering slide and the opening edge of the metering opening, said partial openings being spaced apart from one another in the direction of rotation of the distributor disc and lying substantially consecutively, wherein a stirring member which is effective at least in the region of the partial openings (16, 17) in the event of small mass flows is arranged in the lower region of the supply container. In order to ensure an optimized stirring action of the stirring member in the region of the partial opening in the event of small mass flows, it is provided that the stirring member has a stirring shaft (8) which is arranged at least approximately parallel to the base and/or to the plane of the metering opening and is driven rotatably, and has assigned stirring elements in each funnel, and that the longitudinal axis of each stirring shaft and the stirring elements are located above the partial openings of each metering opening in the event of small mass flows.</p> |
