<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejecting apparatus which can restrict bending of a recording medium in a transportation direction at the time of drying the recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: The printer 11 includes a recording head 15 which performs recording by ejecting an ink to a recording paper P transported from an upstream side to a downstream side, and a heating roller unit 17 which is arranged in a width direction along the recording paper P that intersects the transportation direction to heat the recording paper P at a downstream side position in the transportation direction of the recording paper P from the recording head 15. The heating roller unit 17 is arranged along the width direction of the recording paper P that intersects the transportation direction, and is divided to a plurality of regions in the width direction.
