FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: method involves emitting a broadband coded acoustic signal, receiving the signal reception by at least one measuring acoustic sensor arranged on the chest surface, constructing a cross-correlation signal function modulus graph, recovering and finding maxima delays of the cross-correlation function on the graph and mapping the lungs. The emission is generated by a high-frequency acoustic signal with a lower frequency of 10 kHz and a frequency bandwidth min. of 9 kHz from the chest surface; the signal is additionally received by means of a reference sensor arranged in a point of emission; the graph is constructed with respect to a cross-correlation function modulus of the reference and measuring sensors responses, whereas the mapping procedure follow relative amplitudes of the graph maxima and/or acoustic velocities determined by a distance of the reference and measuring sensors and the maxima delays from the time of emission with the maxima at an average acoustic velocity of less than 400 m/s taken into consideration.EFFECT: higher spatial resolution of small focal lung abnormalities detection by identifying local regions of increased or decreased air fill of the lung tissue.3 dwg, 1 tbl, 1 ex |
