FIELD: transport.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control over spacecraft extra-atmospheric descent from the Earth artificial satellite orbit. Proposed method consists in double actuation of spacecraft jet engine: in artificial satellite orbit and in spacecraft aerocapture. At first engine actuation thrust vector opposes the orbital velocity vector to allows spacecraft aerocapture at preset velocity. Second actuation ensures the required spacecraft aerocapture angle at appropriate orientation of thrust vector (to the Earth of therefrom).EFFECT: lower power consumption, higher accuracy of spacecraft aerocapture and landing at reset site.2 dwg |
