Class 122(v) A sealing device between relatively rotating parts comprises a rubber or like moulded annulus having an axial holding portion a and an annular resilient diaphragm c carrying a sealing ring d and axially spring-loaded by springs e retained by a rigid ring f having an axial flange that is a press fit with the holding portion a. The holding portion a, which may be reinforced by a metal ring b, is press fitted in one of the relatively rotating parts and the sealing ring d is urged into sealing contact with a radial face on the other of the relatively rotating parts by the springs e that are located by spigots c<SP>1</SP> on, or recessed in, the diaphragm c and by tongues f<SP>1</SP> formed on the inner border of the ring f. The sealing ring d may be bonded or moulded to the diaphragm or mounted in a carrier ring attached to the diaphragm which may have a textile reinforcement therein.
