Method for alternately feeding a rinsing medium and at least one cleaning medium (24a to 24j) by means of a metering system (1) for at least one laundry cleaning device (2a,...,2d), and cleaning device therefor, wherein the rinsing medium is fed to the metering system (1) via a rinsing medium feed line (10) that is connected to at least one inlet connection (15a, 15b), and the metering system (1) is connected by an outlet connection (22a to 22d) to each laundry cleaning device (2a,...,2d) via a respective washing medium feed line (23a to 23d). The method comprises the following steps: • a) detecting an automated cleaning task or a cleaning task that can be predefined by a user, • b) checking the pressure in the rinsing medium feed line (10), • c) feeding the rinsing medium to a laundry cleaning device (2a,...,2d) via the washing medium feed line (23a to 23d) assigned to the laundry cleaning device (2a,...,2d), • d) feeding the at least one cleaning medium (24a to 24j) to the laundry cleaning device (2a,...,2d) according to step c), • e) rinsing the metering system (1) and the washing medium feed line (23a to 23d) with the rinsing medium for a predefinable duration. |
