PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide non-halogen flame-retardant wire having excellent oil resistance and being easy to handle.SOLUTION: Provided is non-halogen flame-retardant wire comprising: a conductor; and a plurality of insulation layers including an insulation inner layer and an outermost insulation layer, formed by coating a non-halogen flame-retardant resin composition around a circumference of the conductor. The non-halogen flame-retardant resin composition, which is positioned on the outermost side of the plurality of insulation layers and is in contact with the insulation inner layer along its circumference to constitute the outermost insulation layer, comprises: a base polymer containing an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) whose vinyl acetate content (VA content) is 25 mass% or more, or polyethylene (PE) having a melting point peak of 115 to 140°C as measured by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC); and 150 to 300 pts.mass of metal hydroxide relative to 100 pts.mass of the base polymer. Further, the outermost insulation layer shows a mass change of 420% or less after it is immersed for 24 hours in xylene heated to 110°C. |
