1. A method for providing a security update to a plurality of network infrastructure devices, comprising:
establishing, by a controller, a secure channel with each of a plurality of network infrastructure devices; providing, by the controller, a multicast group address to each of the plurality of network infrastructure devices via the plurality of secure channels; and providing, by the controller, a security update to the plurality of network infrastructure devices via the plurality of secure channels and via as multicast message with the multicast group address set as the destination address.
