<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device, a power source control circuit, and an AC adapter capable of suppressing decrease in the output voltage of the AC adapter during charging of a battery.SOLUTION: An information processing device includes a battery charged by a DC output output from an AC adapter and a power source control circuit for switching overcurrent protection characteristics of the AC adapter according to the power supply state of the information processing device. The power source control circuit switches the overcurrent protection characteristics from inverted-L-shaped characteristics to fold-back current limiting characteristics when the power supply state changes from off to on. For example, the peak current value of the fold-back current limiting characteristics is larger than the constant current value of the inverted-L-shaped characteristics.</p> |
