The disclosed invention relates to an oil level gauge for a construction machine, comprising: a gauge body; a stopper having a path formed in the center by penetrating an upper portion and a lower portion thereof and fixed to the upper portion of the gauge body; a level detector comprising a cover formed at an upper end part thereof, an oil sensor formed at a lower end part thereof, and an annular flange formed in the proximity of the lower part of the lid, wherein the cover includes a first bottom part formed to extend towards the outside of the gauge body so as to come into contact with the top surface of the lid and a second bottom part formed of a stepped structure towards the inside of the gauge body so as to form a back pressure chamber spaced from the top surface of the lid, thereby discharging the internal pressure generated in the gauge body to the outside through the back pressure chamber; and an elastic member provided between the flange and the lower part of the lid and enabling the first bottom part of the cover to come into contact with the top surface of the lid by elastic force.
