<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejecting apparatus that can obtain high printing quality by stabilizing the posture of a recording medium even in performing marginless printing. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid ejecting apparatus includes: a medium supporting member 214 for supporting the recording medium 214; a liquid ejecting head for ejecting liquid to the recording medium R supported by the medium supporting member 214; and a liquid receivable unit that is provided at a side of a supporting surface 214a of the recording medium R in the medium supporting member 214 and can switch a liquid receiving state for receiving the liquid existing outside an edge of the recording medium R and a medium supporting state for supporting a back surface of the recording medium R. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
