The present invention is directed to a closure 1 for an outlet opening of a container comprising a first component 3 which snaps onto an outlet opening and provides a seal for an outlet opening, said first component 3 snaps with a second component 4 of said closure 1; wherein the first component 3 comprises one or more rails 7 to enable stability of the assembly and defines the direction of movement of the second component 4 relative to the first component 3; a second component 4 comprising a dispensing orifice 5 of said second component 4, said second component 4 snaps with said first component 3; wherein the second component 4 comprises ribs 6 which engage the rail(s) 7 of said first component 3; a dispesing orifice 5 is positioned directly adjacent to the open portion of the container body; wherein one or more directions of the movement of the second component 4 relative to the first component 3 are independently controlled by rails 7 and ribs 6.
