PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing apparatus capable of performing printing on a recording medium comprising alignment marks formed on both sides, at an accurate position.SOLUTION: A printing apparatus includes: a stage 37A on which base material 1 is placed having an alignment mark M formed on at least one of front and rear surfaces and receiving droplets of liquid from a nozzle of a discharge head; a first alignment camera 61a which images the alignment mark M provided on the base material 1 from a front surface side; and a second alignment camera 61b which images the alignment mark M provided on the base material 1 from a rear surface side. A stage 39 is provided with a calibration mark KM to be used in calibrating of the stage 39. The calibration mark KM is shared by the first alignment camera 61a and the second alignment camera 61b. |
