<p>A gear assembly is disclosed. The gear assembly comprises an input drive gear (12) in meshing engagement with first and second intermediate gears (13, 14) and an output load gear (11) in meshing engagement with third and fourth intermediate gears (15, 16). A first coupling (18A) is provided between the first and third intermediate gears (13, 15) and is configured so that rotation of the first intermediate gear (13) causes rotation of the third intermediate gear (15). A second coupling (18B) is provided between the second and fourth intermediate gears (14, 16) and is configured so that rotation of the second intermediate gear (14) causes rotation of the fourth intermediate gear (16).</p> |
