<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic component easy to manufacture a core and capable of suppressing variations in magnetic characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: A magnetic component 1 includes an electromagnetic coil 2 and a plurality of cores 3 composed of a magnetic material. The cores 3 each have a polished close contact surface 31. The plurality of cores 3 are assembled so that the close contact surfaces 31 are in close contact with each other. The electromagnetic coil 2 is stored in a coil storage space 30 formed between the plurality of cores 3. A magnetic fluxϕgenerated by electric conduction to the electromagnetic coil 2 passes through the close contact surface 31 through the cores 3. Projections 4 for preventing relative displacement of the plurality of cores 3 assembled are formed in peripheral portions of the close contact surface 31 in the core 3a so as to be projected in a normal direction (a Z direction) of the close contact surface 31.
