733,455. Lighting fittings. METROPOLITAN - VICKERS ELECTRICAL CO., Ltd. April 23, 1954 [April 24, 1953], No. 11400/53. Classes 75 (2) and 75 (4). A lighting unit comprises an elongated reflector 8 and a member supporting starting means for a fluorescent tube located longitudinally of the reflector, means being provided for releasably connecting the reflector to the member in either of two positions at right angles to each other. In the embodiment shown the member is a plate 3 secured by a bolt 6 to the open underside of continuous trunking 1 carrying the electric cables and in another embodiment the member is a box containing the starting means. In both cases the reflector is secured to the underside of the member by four screws 9 disposed symmetrically around the centre of the top of the reflector. Specification 733,454 is referred to. |
