Disclosed are a fingerprint template based on fuzzy feature point information and a fingerprint identification method. The fingerprint template comprises several pieces of incomplete feature point, including registration information and comparison information, wherein only coordinate information and attribute information of feature points and a value of a polynomial are recorded. In the polynomial P(Xi)=C0+C1Xi+ C2Xi^2…CnXi^n, n is a degree of the polynomial, Xi is a value obtained by quantifying one or multiple pieces of the feature point information except the registration information in the feature point information, and C0~Cn are coefficients provided with a certain preset rule. By substituting corresponding feature point information of a field fingerprint into the polynomial to obtain the C0~Cn, and determining whether the C0~Cn meet the preset rule, whether the field fingerprint matches a template fingerprint can be determined. |
