PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cartridge that has a seal part, made of fiber, arranged between a rotary body and a frame body and that has the fiber suppressed from falling from the seal part at low cost without requiring any additional process.SOLUTION: A seal unit 12a has a plane seal member 13, made of a plurality of fibers mutually restrained by entwining one another, slidably on a developer carrier 9, and the plane seal member 13 has the fibers, formed long in one direction, cut to a predetermined length in a direction crossing the longer direction and is provided with a non-rubbing region R2, which is not rubbed against the developer carrier 9, of the plane seal member 13 upstream and downstream from a rubbing region R1, which is rubbed against the developer carrier 9, in a rubbing direction V, only fibers, positioned in the non-rubbing region R2, of the plane seal member 13 having cut faces S formed when the plane seal member 13 is cut to the predetermined length. |
