An orbiting scroll (3) comprises spiral-shaped orbiting wraps (5) provided on both sides of a base plate section (12). A housing (2) is provided with a receiving hole (6) in which the orbiting wraps (5) are received so that the orbiting wraps (5) can orbit. On the outside of the receiving hole (6), the orbiting scroll (3) is held at three or more circumferential points of the outer periphery thereof by the housing (2) so that the orbiting scroll (3) can be orbited by a crankshaft (18). Stationary scrolls (4) each have a spiral stationary wrap (7) provided on one side of an end plate (20). The stationary scrolls (4) are removably mounted to the housing (2) so as to sandwich the orbiting scroll (3) while the stationary wraps (7) are engaged with the orbiting wraps (5). |
