<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner that has achieved both hot offset resistance and durable stability superior to the prior art.SOLUTION: There is provided a toner that has toner particles containing an amorphous polyester resin, mold release agent, colorant, and crystalline polyester, where on a transmission electron microscope (TEM) cross section of the toner particles subjected to ruthenium dyeing treatment, the crystalline polyester has formed crystals observed in a needle-like shape on the cross section of the toner particles; the number average diameter (D1) of the length of the major axis of the crystals is 60 nm or more and 250 nm or less; and when the area accounted for by the crystalline polyester in the toner particles is obtained in a field of view of 1.0μm×1.0μm on the cross section of the toner particles, the standard deviation of the area is 10.0% or less, and the coverage of the surface of the toner particles by inorganic fine powder, which is calculated by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy analysis, is 50% or more and 75% or less.</p> |
