<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience for user by determining a trimming image area to be displayed, in accordance with the size ratio of windows when an original image and a trimming image are displayed on a multi-window screen. <P>SOLUTION: A broadcast receiver 100 includes: a trimming image area acquisition part 116 for acquiring area information related to a trimming image; and a window generation part 114 for generating a signal to display respective windows. A window size change part 115 changes the size of the window in accordance with an operation indication. A composite image generation part 109 generates an image output with the multiple windows composed therein and outputs it to a display part 111. A trimming image area determination part 117 compares the size ratio of the multiple windows with the resolution ratio of a wide view angle image and the trimming image thereby to determine a trimming image area to be displayed, and performs control to allow the image in a trimming image viewing window to be more largely displayed than the area in a wide view angle image displayed in the other window. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
