<p>The invention concerns a package (100) comprising a storage container (1) and a containment case for irradiated fuel, the container comprising a lateral body (2) extending around a longitudinal axis (12) of the container and comprising an inner surface (22) delimiting a cavity for housing the case (3), the container further comprising at least one assembly (15) forming a guide rail for guiding the case in the cavity, mounted on the lateral body (2) and at least partially projecting into the housing cavity (4). According to the invention, the assembly forming the guide rail (15) comprises a shock absorbing member (28) designed to damp, via plastic deformation, a lateral impact between the container (1) and the containment case (3).</p> |
