PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article-of-commerce sales data processing device such as a self measuring device with an imaging unit, capable of notifying a user whether the number of articles of commerce is right.SOLUTION: An article-of-commerce sales data processing device 100 for processing sales data on articles of commerce, includes: a storage unit (such as a RAM 3) storing therein article-of-commerce data including unit mass information on each article of commerce; an imaging unit 8 imaging the articles of commerce; a number identifying unit 112 identifying the number of articles of commerce based on data on an image picked up by the imaging unit 8; a measuring unit 7 measuring a mass of each article of commerce; a number calculation unit 113 calculating the number of articles of commerce based on the mass of each article of commerce measured by the measuring unit 7 and the article-of-commerce data stored in the storage unit; a determination unit 114 determining whether the number of articles of commerce identified by the number identifying unit 112 matches the number of articles of commerce calculated by the number calculation unit 113; and a notifying unit 115 notifying a user of a determination result of the determination unit 114. |
