According to an embodiment of the present invention, a liquid crystal display device comprises: a first substrate; a plurality of scan signals located on the first substrate; a pixel electrode connected to a gate line and a data line; and a contact hole exposing a part of the scan line. The pixel electrode comprises: a cross-shaped stem unit; a plurality of branch electrodes stretched from the cross-shaped stem unit; and an edge stem unit connecting the branch electrodes on edges of the pixel electrode. The edge stem unit of the pixel electrode adjacent to the contact hole is removed.
