PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peeling washing device that can efficiently perform peeling of root vegetables with irregularities such as taros by the good yield. ! SOLUTION: A peeling washing device 1 is provided for peeling and washing vegetables to be peeled. The device includes a frame unit 10 standing by itself in an installation location, a rotating unit 20 where the vegetables to be peeled are input and rotated, and a spraying unit 30 for spraying liquid for use in peeling and washing the vegetables to be peeled. The rotating unit 20 contains a rotating shaft member 21 having a rotating shaft elongated horizontally, a cylindrical member 22 having a peeling blade 22a and a draining through-hole 22b, and a connecting member 23 for connecting the rotating shaft member 21 with the cylindrical member 22.
