PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pavement with higher thermal conductivity, and a material for road used therefor. ! SOLUTION: Since a material for road contains carbon nanofibers chemically bonded to a solid particle, the thermal resistance between the solid particle and the carbon nanofibers is low. In addition, since the carbon nanofibers are easy to be dispersed uniformly and a network of percolating carbon nanofibers is easy to be formed, heat can be transmitted via the carbon nanofibers, which allows the formation of the pavement with high thermal conductivity. !
