The present invention provides a secondary battery to seal an electrode assembly in a battery case of a laminate sheet including a resin layer and a metal layer. An electrode lead electrically connected to the electrode assembly protrudes on one or more edges of the secondary battery. A lead film with an insulation property is attached on the interface of the battery case on both sides of the electrode lead. A part of the lead film protrudes from the battery case. The lead film has a structure in which a width between both edges of a protrusion part from the battery case is shorter than the width of the center thereof with 5% to 40%.
