PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear actuator having a simple structure, producible at low cost, causing scarce magnetic leakage, and capable of obtaining a large inertial force without increasing the number of parts or making a weight heavy.SOLUTION: A linear actuator includes: an output shaft 12 supported on a support case 11 in a freely reciprocating manner; an elastic member 13 energizing the output axis 12 to an intermediate position side in reciprocating linear motion; a permanent magnet 14 fixed to the output shaft 12; a coil 15 allowing the output shaft 12 to perform reciprocating linear motion by making a variable magnetic field on the permanent magnet 14, the coil being fixed to the support case 11 so as to face one magnetic pole of the permanent magnet 14; a yoke 16 composed of a magnetic material, the yoke having the middle part fixed to the other magnetic pole of the permanent magnet 14, extending to the outside of the coil 15 so as to be spaced from the permanent magnet 14 along the outside of the permanent magnet 14, and having the end part arranged close to the outside of the coil 15; and power source means for allowing the coil 15 to form a variable magnetic field. |
