The invention concerns an omnidirectional treadmill (1) comprising a stationary central platform (2) surrounded by a deck (3), which is in level with the central platform (1) and comprises a conveyor arrangement (4). The conveyor arrangement (4) comprises a plurality of rotatable rollers (6), which can be driven in order to move a user stepping thereon back to the central platform (2). The rotatable rollers (6) are made of flexible shafts, which have a jacket and are laid out in concentric circles around the central platform (2), and are journaled in pillow block bases and kept in place on these by means of pillow block cap portions, the tops of which being located on a level below the deck level, such that they do not interfere with a user being moved by the rotatable rollers. |
