<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a proximity sensor using an optical sensor, which is easy to use and reduced in power consumption.SOLUTION: In a proximity sensor, by using a first light sensor, it is detected that the amount of ambient light, entering an optical sensor due to approach of a finger, is changed. A detection signal is output on the basis of the result of detection. The optical sensor comprises, for example, one or a plurality of PN junction elements connected in parallel.</p> |
