The present invention relates to a cooking container for a microwave range, comprising: a container body (10) which is placed in a microwave range and has salient cramps (12) at an outside of an upper edge; a lid (20) which covers an upper part of the container body (10) and has fixing holders (22) to be hung to the salient cramps (12); a steam discharge hole (24) which is formed at a center of the lid (20); a pressure maintaining hole (30) which includes a moving bar (32) for moving the steam discharge hole (24) in a vertical direction, an upper head (34) for blocking the steam discharge hole (24) at an upper part of the moving bar (32), and a lower support portion (36) formed to have a larger diameter than the moving bar (32) at a lower end of the moving bar (32) in order to restrict an increase of the moving bar (32) when internal vapor pressures are increased; and a grill portion (40) which consists of leg portions (42) for supporting the grill portion (40) to have a predetermined height from an internal bottom of the container body (10), and a net-shaped support plate (46) supported by an upper end of the leg portions (42) and formed with a plurality of through-holes (44) for discharging oil and moving microwave, wherein the through-holes (44) are formed to have a wide lower side and a narrow upper side so as to increase a movement amount of microwave, thereby saving a cooking time. Thus, the cooking container enables anyone such as singles, working couples, housewives, the elderly, and the like to easily cook in a short period of time, thereby providing convenience in life.
