Provided are a travelling device that can reduce the risk that travelling motor hydraulic piping and a piping cover may collide against an obstacle and that facilitates assembly of travelling motor hydraulic piping and a work machine including the same. A travelling frame (15) of a travelling device (12tr) is positioned between a center frame (14) and a travelling motor attachment portion (18). An upper plate (15a) of the travelling frame (15) is extended toward the center side of the vehicle to form an extended portion (21). A long hole (22) into which travelling motor hydraulic piping (20) is inserted is formed in the upper plate (15a) of the travelling frame (15) along the extended portion (21). The travelling motor hydraulic piping (20) is led out from a lead-out hole (14b) opened in an end plate (14a) of the center frame (14), let through the long hole (22) of the upper plate (15a) and then a long hole (15c) that is opened in an end plate (15b), and inserted into the travelling motor attachment portion (18).
