Disclosed are a data collection method and device, which are used for adjusting a collection frequency intelligently. The method in the embodiments of the present invention comprises: after physical sign data of a user is acquired, conducting, by a data collection device, analysis to obtain user states according to the physical sign data of the user, the data collection device being capable of determining different collection frequencies according to the different user states; and then, collecting physical sign data in accordance with the collection frequencies, the data collection device also being capable of analyzing the health state of the user according to the collected physical sign data and notifying the user of the health state of the user, and being capable of providing a health suggestion for the user as well. |
