This electric circuit is applied to a vehicle having an idling stop function, and is equipped with: a lead-acid battery that is capable of being charged with electric power generated by an electric generator and discharging the electric power; a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery that is connected parallel to the lead-acid battery and capable of being charged with the electric power generated by the electric generator and discharging the electric power; a starter that is connected to the lead-acid battery and the non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery and cranks the engine during automatic restarting; and a switching means that is capable of cutting off electrical connection between the starter and the lead-acid battery. In addition, the switching means is constructed with the inclusion of at least a semiconductor switch, whereby during the automatic restarting, the switching means cuts off the electrical connection between the starter and the lead-acid battery as a relay of the switching means cuts off the electrical connection between the starter and the lead-acid battery, and electrical connection is established between the starter and the non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery. |
