PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car door device of an elevator, which can more reliably prevent an elevator failure and which can achieve cost reduction.SOLUTION: A car door device of an elevator includes: a car door 4 that has a door panel 7 and that opens/closes a car doorway 1 by moving in the width direction of the car doorway 1; a foreign matter detection sensor 21 that is provided in a lower part of the door panel 7 and that detects a foreign matter existing between a car sill 5 provided in a lower part the car doorway 1 and the lower part of the door panel 7; and a door control part that controls movement of the car door 4 on the basis of information from the foreign matter detection sensor 21. |
