The invention relates to a coating composition having hydrophobic property which provides surfaces with water-repellent, anti-lime, and easy cleaning properties; and to a method for preparing the coating composition and applying this coating composition to surfaces as well as products/surfaces comprising the composition prepared according to the invention. The coating composition developed within the scope of the invention basically comprises a compound used for forming network structure; a compound which is both added in the network structure and provides hydrophobic property; and epoxy, acrylic and/or polyester resins as binder. It is also possible within the scope of the invention that the resin has a hybrid structure modified by the combination of inorganic and organic resins. Supplemental additives are solvent and additives that provide suitable viscosity.
