<p>Provided is an air conditioner capable of shortening drying time of clothes with a simple structure. In the air conditioner (100), dehumidification operation and clothes drying operation are performed through latent heat of evaporation of refrigerant in an evaporator (64). The dehumidification operation and the clothes drying operation can be selected through an operation switching button (203). A control portion (90) enables air volume flowing through the evaporator (64) at the clothes drying operation to be greater than the air volume flowing through the evaporator (64) at the dehumidification operation. During the clothes drying operation, due to increase of the air volume, a dehumidification capacity is lower than the dehumidification capacity during the dehumidification operation, but the capacity for suppressing air containing moisture from remaining among the sundried clothes in a room is improved, therefore, the drying time of clothes is correspondingly shortened.</p> |
