<p>The present invention relates to a radiation therapy system using a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) apparatus, and specifically, to a radiation therapy system which includes a movable or openable RF coil. The radiation therapy system comprises: an MRI apparatus including an RF coil portion for shooting the MRI for a target to be treated, and moving to the outside of a radiating space of radiation; and a linear accelerator for generating the radiation, radiating the radiation to the target to be treated, and controlling an operation based on the MRI of the target to be treated which is produced through the MRI apparatus. By comprising the radiation therapy system using an MRI apparatus including a movable or openable RF coil, the present invention enables to solve problems such as an exposure of a normal tissue due to generation of Compton scattered X-ray, a malfunction of an RF coil apparatus, and a reduction of the radiation amount by an photoelectric effect.</p> |
