<p>A method for fixing a thrust washer (13) to an appliance comprising the steps of: a) applying coating material (14) to a surface of the appliance to which the thrust washer is to be fixed, b) pressing the thrust washer into the coating material while the coating material is in a fluid state, and c) causing the coating material to solidify to fix the thrust washer relative to the coating material and the surface. The thrust washer may include keying notches (15, 16, 17) spaced around its perimeter.</p> |
