PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce inequality between a candidate for a subject of initial selection and a plurality of other candidates, and to enhance operability when a user selects a candidate.SOLUTION: In an information processing apparatus 10, a candidate display control part 12 positions one predetermined candidate of a plurality of candidates at a predetermined center, arranges the other candidates radially in a plurality of directions from the center, and displays the plurality of candidates as a list on a display part 20. When first receiving a moving operation with a direction key 31 from an input part 30, the information processing apparatus 10 points a selection cursor 22 at a candidate arranged at an original point position as a subject of selection and displays the candidate. For example, the candidate display control part 12 displays nine candidates 13 generated by an application 11 with a matrix 21 on the display part 20, and firstly points the selection cursor 22 at "give" arranged at a center of the matrix 21 and displays the candidate. |
