PROGRESSIVE-ACTION SEALING SYSTEM

The progressive-action sealing system is a mechanism that can be used to communicate and seal conductor elements (electric or other) from one pressurised environment to another non-pressurised environment or between environments that have different pressures, using piston-type moving components (3) which are assembled mechanically, joining the upper connector (1) with the pressure chamber (8), sealing the conductor elements by means of elastomers (5) forming a bi-directional pressure sealing barrier that acts progressively in response to the existing pressure force and in the direction in which the greatest pressure is directed. The system can be used in gas and oil well production in order to isolate areas that have different pressures or areas in relation to the exterior of the well. It can also be used in any industrial sector that requires a communication to be established between conductors through areas that have different pressures.
