The present invention relates to a manufacturing method of a ceramic ball with a detergent function used in washing machines or dishwashers, which improves the strength and washing force of the ceramic ball and comprises: a first step of crushing raw materials used for molding a ceramic ball in a ball milling process, passing the particle of the raw material whose size is not more than #325, and making the same into fine powders; a second step of mixing the fine powders from the raw material in a mixer for 2 to 20 hours and removing irons from the powders; a third step of injecting the powder and water to a molding apparatus having a cylindrical rotation drum and accordingly molding the ball; a fourth step of drying the molded ball for a certain time and removing moisture; a fifth step of firing the dried ball between 600 and 1400 degree Celsius in order of temperatures like low, middle, high, middle and low temperature and manufacturing the ceramic ball; a sixth step of washing the ceramic ball; and a seventh step of drying the washed ceramic ball.
