The present invention provides a layered organic photovoltaic cell comprising: a substrate; an anode on the substrate; a lower cell on the anode; an upper cell disposed on the lower cell to absorb a light having a wavelength difference from a wavelength that can be absorbed by the lower cell ; a connection unit disposed between the lower cell and the upper cell to connect the lower cell and the upper cell in series; and a cathode on the upper cell. The connection unit comprises: an electron transport layer disposed to contact the lower cell and formed from an electron transportable material; a hole transport layer disposed to contact the upper cell and provided with a hole transportable material doped with a P-type dopant; and a metal layer disposed between the electron transport layer and the hole transport layer.
