<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a drive device capable of, when moving a follower member via a drive member driven by a stepping motor, quickly and surely activating the stepping motor, and controlling a moving distance of the drive member by the number of drive pulses more accurately.SOLUTION: In a drive device, as regards an output interval of a drive pulse when a follower member is driven by a stepping motor, the drive pulse is output at the longest output interval until the follower member moves beyond a predetermined position. When the follower member moves beyond the predetermined position, the output interval of the drive pulse is shortened gradually as the follower member moves. The drive pulse is output at the longest output interval when the follower member returns to a position closer to a position at activation from the predetermined position, or returns to a position closer to the position at activation from a previous position, after the follower member moves beyond the predetermined position.</p> |
