PURPOSE:To effectively inhibit uneven development and to rapidly process a sheet-shaped silver halide photographic sensitive material by specifying the amt. of an ejected developing soln and the flow rate during circulation in a developing bath in case of <=15sec developing time. CONSTITUTION:When a silver halide photographic sensitive material is processed with a roller transfer type automatic developing apparatus, in case of <=15sec developing time, the amt. of a developing soln. ejected during circulation in a developing bath is regulated to 50-150% of the amt. of the soln. in the bath per 1min and the flow rate is regulated to 60-5m/sec. Any silver halide such as silver bromide, silver iodobromide, silver iodochlorobromide, silver chlorobromide or silver chloride may be used as the silver halide in the silver halide emulsion of the sensitive material to be rapidly processed. Thus, uneven development can be effectively inhibited in spite of very rapid processing. |
