Disclosed are an academic field analysis system, an analysis method and recording media containing the analysis program, which can serve the public profits by quantitatively evaluating the relevancy among various academic fields. The academic analysis system comprises: an academic journal and rank information calculation unit that determines the rank of academic journal by investigating the number of articles published in the academic journal in each academic field; and a correlation calculation unit that calculates the correlation score in proportion to the similarity of the rank based on the number of articles published in the academic journal of each academic field.
