Disclosed are a method for manufacturing composite plates and a composite plate manufactured thereby, which are capable of multi-item low volume production by forming a composite plate for furniture having an edge molding in a various shape from a plate for intermediate core material without a molding or forming frame. The method for manufacturing a composite plate integrated with an edge molding according to the present invention comprises: a first processing step for processing a first edge space with a predetermined depth according to the shape of the composite plate on the top surface of a plate for intermediate core material so that the first edge space is separated from the corner of the plate for intermediate core material by a predetermined distance; a first edge forming step for forming a first edge by injecting and hardening a liquid resin into the first edge space; a second processing step for processing a second edge space so that the second edge space corresponds to the first edge space on the bottom surface of the plate for intermediate core material and the first edge is exposed after the first edge forming step; a second edge forming step for forming a second edge integrated with the first edge by injecting and hardening a liquid resin into the second edge space; a surface material attaching step for attaching surface materials on the entire top and bottom surfaces of the plate for intermediate core material after the second edge forming step; and a molding processing step for forming a composite plate having an edge molding by processing the first and second edges with an outer core material and a surface material located from the corner of the plate for intermediate core material through the first and second edges.
