<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biaxially oriented polyester film which can be provided with very excellent dimensional stability in one direction against environmental changes and such processability that the film elongates hardly even when high temperature tension is applied thereto. <P>SOLUTION: The biaxially oriented polyester film comprises an aromatic polyester satisfying the following (1) to (3): (1)≥95 mol% of all acid components is a terephthalic acid component, (2)≥95 mol% of all glycol components is a 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol component and an ethylene glycol component in a molar ratio of 95:5 to 65:35, and (3) the metal element content (M: mmol%) of a metal compound used as a catalyst is 10-80 mmol% and the molar ratio (M/P) of that to the P element content (P: mmol%) of a phosphorus compound used as a stabilizer is 1-4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
