<p>The invention relates to a lamellar decanter meant for a plant for purifying municipal and industrial waste water. According to the invention, the decanter comprises a functional compartment (1) and a sludge conveying installation (7), some sedimentation plates (2), and a sludge removal system (5), the functional compartment (1) being provided with two superposed chambers (I and II), to which a system (4) for supplying the waste water and chemical reagents is added, a detachable separation plate (6) being provided between the two chambers (I and II) where, in order to achieve a higher degree of purification of the waste water, an aeration system (8) is placed downstream the sedimentation plates (2) and upstream the water discharge.</p> |
